Privacy Policy

Last Updated · July 2026

The Thoroughbred Code (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, purchase our products, or engage our coaching services — and how we use, share, and protect it. By using our services, you consent to the practices described here.

Section 01

Information We Collect

  • Information you provide: name, email address, shipping address, coaching intake details, and any messages, feedback, or testimonials you share with us.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment providers (see Section 03). We do not store your full card numbers on our servers.
  • Automatically collected: IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, gathered through cookies and similar technologies to help the site function and improve.

Section 02

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Fulfill orders, ship physical books, and deliver digital downloads and audio teachings
  • Provide and schedule coaching services
  • Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and account notices
  • Send marketing emails and updates, where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • Improve our website, products, and services
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse

Section 03

Payment Processing & Third Parties

We rely on trusted third-party services to run our business, and your information is handled under each provider’s own privacy policy:

  • Stripe — secure payment processing for purchases made on this website.
  • Stan Store and Amazon — when you buy through these platforms, your purchase and personal data are handled by them under their own privacy policies, not this one.
  • Email & analytics providers — used to send communications you’ve opted into and to understand site usage.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Section 04

Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our pages. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly without them.

Section 05

Email Marketing

If you opt in, we may send newsletters, offers, and updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by clicking it or emailing deana@deanamorgan.com. We will still send essential transactional messages (like order and shipping confirmations) related to purchases you make.

Section 06

How We Share Information

We share your information only as needed to operate our business:

  • With service providers who help us process payments, ship orders, send email, and run the website
  • When required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property
  • In connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or sale), with notice to you

Section 07

Data Security & Retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your information only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here, comply with legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Section 08

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you; object to or restrict certain processing; request a copy of your data; and opt out of marketing. To exercise any of these rights, email deana@deanamorgan.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

EU / UK users (GDPR): we process your data on the lawful bases of contract, consent, and legitimate interest, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. California users (CCPA): you have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information — and we do not sell it.

Section 09

Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Section 10

Coaching Confidentiality & Third-Party Links

Information you share in coaching sessions is treated as confidential, subject to the exceptions described in our Terms of Service (such as legal requirements or preventing imminent harm).

Our site and emails may link to third-party websites (such as Stan Store, Amazon, or social media). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies before sharing information.

Section 11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
